The monsoon is a season of hardship for daily-wage families whose income depends on being able to work outdoors. This year, our Shared Tables drive stepped in to make sure no family went to bed hungry.
From a central community kitchen, teams of volunteers cooked and packed thousands of meals each week, delivering them to construction sites, shelters, and low-income neighborhoods. Families also received dry ration kits with rice, lentils, oil, and spices to cook at home.
What began as an emergency response has grown into a lasting network of neighborhood volunteers who now know exactly which households need the most support.
Help us bring this work to more communities.
