In three drought-prone hamlets, fetching water once meant a daily walk of several hours, often on the shoulders of women and children. The Every Drop project set out to change that.
Working with local masons, we installed new hand pumps and restored two neglected community wells, testing the water to ensure it was safe to drink. A village water committee was formed to maintain the infrastructure for the long term.
With clean water close to home, children have more time for school and families have more time for work, rest, and each other.
Help us bring this work to more communities.
